Colbert Tells Obama How To Enjoy D.C.’s New Marijuana Law
While celebrating the GOP’s gigantic victory in the 21014 mid-term elections, Stephen Colbert took time to offer President Barack Obama some suggestions on how to feel better while enjoying Washington, D.C.’s revamped marijuana laws. On Tuesday, voters in the national’s capitol voted to legalize marijuana. The ballot measure was approved by 69 percent of the voters.
The segment begins with Colbert eating roasted donkey leg in honor of the GOP election romp. Between bites, Colbert said using marijuana might make the president feel better in the aftermath of the GOP’s wide-ranging victories.
“You’re looking at two years of a Republican House and Senate,” said Colbert. “What’s the worst that could happen? You get high, and nothing gets done.”
Colbert suggested that the First Family should plant some cannabis plants in the First Garden and that some people may start referring to D.C. as “Dank Chronic.”
