The EITC and CTC encourage and reward work, and there is growing evidence that income from these credits leads to improved school performance, higher college enrollment, and increased work effort and earnings in adulthood.

Making the expiring features of the EITC and CTC permanent should be a priority for policymakers and deserves bipartisan support. The stakes are high.

  • the eitc, is just redistribution and theft of money from those who’ve earned it and given to those who may or may not deserve it but they certainly didn’t work for it!
