Since 911, the police in the US have killed more than 5,000 Americans. You are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist. Despite this brutality, governments at every level seek to further militarize the police, to consolidate power in the state.
Let’s hope the people of these communities understand that if they start burning down their own town or let others sent in to cause problems that they are playing right into the hands of the state. Stay home and watch a good movie and leave the police state with nothing to do.
