(Before It's News)
Q. I was wondering whether you could do a reading about ‘gods’ and ‘goddesses’. When people such as the Ancient Greeks were praying to deities, was there any ‘thing’ out there receiving their prayers. For example, if one was to worship the God of War, would they be tapping into the energy of ‘warfare’ and therefore more likely to win in battle or be given strength? Or if they worshipped a Harvest Goddess would this mean it would be more likely that they would receive a bountiful harvest? Was there something receiving their prayers, or were they just deluded? And can we harness the energies of certain ‘gods’ today through prayer?
A. In very ancient times ETs would travel to earth to share knowledge, breed with the humans, and in some cases show dominance and create fear (depending on the species of ET). Humans would see these advanced beings as gods. These gods exhibited abilities that were unknown to humans. Some ETs were able to manipulate gravity and “levitate.” Some came in flying machines. They spoke both telepathically and through verbal sounds, and had knowledge far beyond our human time and experience. In the ancient human minds, these beings were gods, or godlike. These “gods” were to be respected, feared and worshiped because their capabilities far exceeded anything of humans. Humans wanted the ‘gods” on their side, which created this feeling of needing to pray or worship them.
When ancient civilizations would go through hardships, the humans would pray to these beings for strength (or weakness to the opponent). The humans wanted help from what they viewed as “gods.” The prayers (which is what “intent” is) would be heard by the “gods” which are a component of the universal consciousness. The universal consciousness is what would allow you to win a war, but ONLY if it were in your greater good. If the “gods” came to your rescue it was because the universal consciousness put that action in motion.
We can harness energy, but it comes from the universe and not individual gods. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but we can shift its location to serve a different purpose (I see a person soaking up the energy of the sun, and that energy resides within the person). Praying or putting through an intent opens you up to receive the energy or healing (also creates empowerment and accountability). The intent forms the connection or pathway to allow the “universe” in.
And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you.
