(N.Morgan) If you’ve ever wondered what the police really think of you, the video below will give you an idea of how they see us citizens, the ones they’ve sworn to protect and serve. The utter lack of respect and regard displayed by the officers in this video is disgusting and shocking. A few months ago, Austin Police Chief Art Acevdo responded to complaints about the abuse of a female jogger by his minions by saying, in effect: Hey, she should be grateful that she wasn’t raped: “In some cities, cops are actually committing sexual assaults on duty.” In Austin, some on-duty cops are content to make jokes about rape victims that express unalloyed contempt for people who cling to the durable but demonstrably false belief that police exist to serve and protect the public:

No, cops talk about Dope Smokers like they are lower than pond scum, which is the case. Dope smokers and criminals are pond scum, but NO they do not talk about citizens as if they were pond scum. Maybe in a few vary isolated instances, their are bad apples every where, but no, law abiding citizens are treated with respect.
No sir, cops DO talk derogatory about the citizens they are allegedly paid to supposedly “serve and protect!!!!”. The dope smokers you refer to, well they are worse than pond scum…but meth users are categorized as an even worse species of animal and of course meth dealers, should be “killed” where they stand. But thinking the cops don’t think that the average Joe Blow is just a step above a turd in the grass….you will be wrong. 30+ years will beg to differ with you.
Are you being serious? If so you are obviously getting your paycheck from U.S. taxpayers too. This example is right in your face and you are still in denial. It’s not just these guys ,but also the court system where all the back room deals are done before anyone even has a chance to step into a court room. You can not deny this fact either. Plea deals are done before the court date! Stop and think about what that REALLY means

I’m being constantly harassed by the cops for merely using pest control from Lowes, while neighbors employ pros that use strychnine! They’re angry because my lawn is no longer safe for their dogs to use as a toilet, which has been a chronic problem. I’m seriously fighting rattlesnakes, rats, gophers, snails and various other insects. Yet, the police are called out here every single time I sprinkle my perfectly legal products in my yard. Sick of being targeted for protecting myself from pests.

The gallows humor that my co-workers and I indulged in on a county EMS would have horrified the general public but any first provider group member will tell you that a degree of indelicacy is necessary for our mental health, a buffer to the harsh reality of human suffering.
Work in a medical laboratory for a few months. You will one day find that you can sit down and eat a chicken dinner beside an amputated leg without noticing.
