Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that crashed on 17 July 2014, presumed to have been shot down, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board. Was it terrorists or something more sinister? Leuren Moret thinks she may have the answers to what actually happened to the ill fated flight. Whatever took out this airliner did so from the pilots cabin first killing the pilots instantly and ruling out a missile to the engines which were more or less intact with no visible shrapnel damage to the fans.
Also radar data can be spoofed so the Frogfoot at 15,000 meters shown by the Russians was probably anything at all.
