Politicians Can’t Save You
~~As we head towards the 2014 midterm elections, many people are hopeful that if we can just get the right people in office things will turn around. Others are focused on 2016 and if we can just get a Republican in the White House, we can save the country. When I hear people talking like this I just want to shake them. It doesn’t matter if you’re Democrat or Republican or Libertarian; the arm of flesh is not going to save you. You have to understand that we fight not against flesh and blood and that this is a spiritual war. We tend to put more trust in the ballot box than we do in God. Please realize that today’s corrupt and morally debased politicians are a byproduct of our morally bankrupt society. And to take it a step further, our morally bankrupt society is a byproduct of an apostate spiritually bankrupt church. Our problem is not a political one; it’s spiritual.
