(Before It's News)

The largest study ever done in this area researchers from the university of south him to and examined around 2000 cases from patients that went under cardiac arrest or successfully resuscitated.

Basically the patients were dead for some amount of time.

Strangely, as many as 40% of the cases recalled experiencing some sort of awareness in some form during that period of time.

This would be impossible though because the brain stops working when blood stops flowing to it a.k.a. under cardiac arrest.  All the patients were clinically dead and still somehow experienced something even though there was no brain activity showing.
