| If you have a child attending public school, he or she may be studying sex education curriculum developed by an organization known as SIECUS (Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States). SIECUS curriculum promotes to children the ideas that homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality are normal and healthy lifestyles, and that abortion is a convenient and acceptable method of birth control. Moreover, they are teaching your children that those who disagree with these views – even on religious grounds – are narrow-minded bigots on the fringe of society. They encourage children to shun the values of their parents if those values contradict those held by SIECUS. This organization is also working internationally to adapt their sex education guidelines for use in other countries.

SIECUS is a 38-year-old nonprofit organization whose sex education guidelines have been endorsed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for use in public schools. Their sex education does not just target children who have reached puberty, but rather is targeted towards children as young as five years of age!
SIECUS is also pro-pornography. On their website, they proclaim, “When sensitively used in a manner appropriate to the viewer’s age and developmental level, sexually explicit visual, printed, or on-line materials can be valuable educational or personal aids…contributing to a wholesome concept of sexuality.” They also state, “Adults should have the right of access to sexually explicit materials for personal use. Legislative and judicial efforts to prevent the production or distribution of sexually explicit materials endanger constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of speech and press and could be employed to restrict the appropriate professional use of such materials by sexuality educators, therapists, and researchers.”

SIECUS sex education guidelines provide four levels of information for four different age groups. You can click on the links below to find samples of what they encourage teachers to share with each age group. SIECUS also has a publication entitled Right From The Start, which provides guidelines on training preschoolers on sexuality issues such as appropriate masturbation and genital touching with other preschoolers! As you can see, some of the information is objectionable, and is geared towards undermining your right to instill your morals and values in your children. If you hold to Judeo-Christian morals, and believe in what the Bible says regarding sexuality, they will encourage your child to reject your values.
SIECUS recognizes that the biggest threat to their agenda comes from what they would call the “religious right.” In truth, what they need to fear is any parent who holds to God’s biblical commands on the proper enjoyment of his gift of sex.
