The MSM news actually talked about this openly. I remember several times President Obama was in Vegas just as the crown princes of Kuwait and/or Saudi Arabia happened to be in town. For about a 4 year stretch this was happening on at least three occasions that I know of. I cannot imagine this stopping. It’s sad because I tried to contact MSM about this because the timing suggested foreign money was being put into the campaigns and no one listened. I THOUGHT real news people wanted real news. Remember Saudis got fat on President Obama’s refusal to even talk about US drilling that allowed OPEC to slow production because of the guaranteed lack of US competition. It is favor returning time. Apparently while the Saudis are selling their oil cheaper to the US, at this time, they have not lowered prices to most of the rest of the world. And if you will notice, the lower prices just happened to occur right before the elections this month. And I have read that Opec has a major meeting on the 17th or 27th of this month, I am not sure which, at which time it is expected that the Saudis will announce they will go back to the prior limits on oil production.
While the claims have been made that this increase in oil production was to punish Putin, it appears to me to have been more an attempt to influence the elections in the US, which it did not seem to have done, at least to the degree the Obama admin desired. The Saudis have a major investment in the Obama admin, and I think this manipulation of both oil prices and our election process was an attempt to booster Obama’s failing support in this nation.

ISIS is flooding the (black) market w/ their cheap oil from lands they’ve conquered in Iraq and Syria. This is having a direct effect on the price due to the law of supply and demand.

and I already thought on my own that the lower prices come, at least to some substantial extent, from additional oil and gas resources taken for prey during wars and civil wars in oil- and gas-bearing regions…
