A time lapse video that shows the amazing skill of the monks from the Drepung Loseling monastery as they construct a Zambhala sand mandala. During the creation of this amazing piece of artwork, the monks pour millions of grains of sand from traditional metal funnels called chak-pur. A mandala that’s about five feet by five feet in size can take up to two weeks to complete.
