Top 10 Pathetic Politicians
Here is a list of ten politicians who will go down as the most pathetic leaders in world history. The leaders all held some type of office in the 21st century. If we go any further, we feel the list may be too short for the subject.
10. Rod Tam:
Rod Tam is the former state legislator and Honolulu city councilman. He earned the nickname the “hungry councilman” for using his council money to enjoy going out to local eateries with family, friends, and constituents. He was found guilty for 26 counts of third and fourth degree theft.
9. Ernest Koroma:
This is the president of Sierra Leone who took power in 2007. During his years in power, he has clearly shown that he is a tribal leader, which has had negative effects on the country such as promotion of national poverty. He does not take required steps to fight corruption in the country. It is also forbidden for him to execute or expose his fellow tribesmen who are involved in corruption.
8. Elliot Spitzer:
Eliot Spitzer is the hard-charging former New York Governor and onetime “Sheriff of Wall Street,” who resigned five years ago in a spectacular fall from grace following a prostitution scandal. This guy is full of grace because now he’s making a comeback into politics.
7. Ed Miliband:
Miliband deserves to be on this list for saying that a FTSE-listed company should be banned from getting new government contracts because of one error. Yes, it was G4S, and yes they may have also overcharged for prisoner tagging, but if cocking up once is a criteria for being banned forever then why is Labour even entering the next UK election? However, then Labour used G4S for their own conference security, so who knows where their principles really lie?
6. Silvio Berlusconi:
Berlusconi served as Italy’s prime minister for three consecutive terms and is the proud owner ofThe Italian football club A.K Milan Berlusconi. He has been imprisoned for tax fraud and for employing escorts who happened to be underage. But that is only considered large because it is Italy and the law enforcement agencies are playing their part well. Something truly sinister done by him is throwing the country in 2 trillion pound deficit.
