Eric Zuesse has collected an interesting assortment of energy information and the role that energy plays in Washington’s undeclared foreign policy agenda. Energy and the interest of other powerful private entities are certainly components of Washington’s foreign policy. However, control over energy and its flows is not the most important component.
The ideology of US hegemony is the driving element of Washington’s reckless and dangerous actions, especially regard to Washington’s attitude toward Russia and China.
