Woman ‘ready for Ferguson’ accidentally shoots self in head while riding down the street

A 26-year-old woman is dead after a gun accident in a moving car in St. Louis over the weekend.
The woman, identified as Becca Campbell, was riding in a vehicle, as her boyfriend drove, and had apparently obtained a new gun in preparation for possible civil unrest around the city. Campbell was waving the gun around, laughing and yelling out the window, “We’re ready for Ferguson,” when the mayhem happened.
According to her boyfriend, whose name has not been released, he ducked as she was waving the gun, and in doing so inadvertently rear-ended a car in front of him. The car accident caused a secondary accident when Campbell’s finger slipped on the trigger and she shot herself in the head.
Campbell was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
