‘Tis the season to send holiday cheer through the mail. But tis not a wise idea to send the dank kind of holiday cheer through the mail.
Especially 16 pounds of the stuff.
A Colorado man staying in Albany either sent himself or had over 16 pounds of buds wrapped in Christmas packaging sent to the Desmond Hotel in Colonie, New York near Albany.
David Malchow was the package’s recipient and was arrested by local authorities when he went to pick up the package at the hotel’s front desk. The package came from Colorado and its sensimilla odor was unmistakable to the postal service.
The package was clearly not disguised well-enough, but 16 pounds of marijuana is simply far too courageous of a number to send through the mail in this day and age. Recent news reports have stated that marijuana-package seizures have been on the rise.
While never wise to ship flowers through the mail, postal offices are swamped during holiday seasons, so this time-period is one where you should avoid taking this type of risk.
Of course, if it weren’t for prohibition, weed in Albany, New York wouldn’t need to be imported from Colorado in the first place.
wrap it in fresh coffee grounds or inside a bottle of shampoo.
