Breaking: Two-Year-Old Shoots and Kills Own Mom in an Idaho Walmart
If you think the anti-Second Amendment sentiment is thick already in this country, wait until this story starts making the gun control
agenda rounds.
News just broke that a toddler shot his own mother with her legally owned and permitted gun in a Walmart in Hayden, Idaho.
The 29-year-old woman reportedly held a valid concealed carry permit and was keeping her gun in her purse. By all accounts, her two-year-old son reached in, grabbed the firearm and accidentally shot her. She died at the scene.

IF (big IF) the story is true as reported, then that was some appalling stupidity on the part of the mother. A two-year-old child in her custody, and a handgun with a cartridge chambered and no safety on? We can nominate her for the 2014 Darwin Awards. Luckily it was her who received the result of her stupidity and not some innocent 3rd party.
That said, there are holes in the story as reported. Most handguns have a 4 to 5 pound trigger pull which is intentionally more stiff than most small children can apply.
This story is more anti-gun propaganda. How can a two year old fire a gun that is not cocked? It takes 7.5 lbs of pressure to pull the trigger on an uncocked gun. What about the safety? Did the two year old disengage the safety too? If this woman had a concealed carry permit, she was trained how to properly secure a handgun.
I understand that not everything is a conspiracy, but i just don’t believe this story.
