Executive Amnesty’s Effect On Americans

We knew all along that the motivating interests of President Obama and the Democrat Party in encouraging border crossings weren’t really in the pursuit of illegal immigrant happiness. We knew all along that their real motivation was to create a surge of voting Democrats. What we didn’t know was just how, or how quickly, they were going to accomplish it. Utah Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) has figured it out. It’s called the government’s “Advanced Parole” program.
And just for the record, Senator Lee is an attorney, a Mormon, and has many legal accomplishments to his credit. He served as law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, and then went on to argue cases before that same Court — a distinct honor. His father founded the Brigham Young University‘s J. Reuben Clark Law School. So Senator Lee is well grounded in government legalities.
First of all, we must realize that this year’s wave of “children” crossing the border was only a small portion of the hoards of illegal immigrants arriving atop the Mexican boxcars. Many were already of or near voting age. And once they got here, their “family members,” still back home, were also welcomed. So the Administration began sending chartered planes to Guatemala, and elsewhere, to speed up the process, and to spare our new neighbors the discomfort of the long train rides.
It’s complicated, but an Advanced Parole is essentially a US Government document for otherwise undocumented immigrants to present to border officials, who will then “parole them into the country” — whatever that means.
Senator Lee said that Obama’s plan would ease the burden on those overstaying their visas, waive any punishment on others here illegally, and put them all on a fast track to a green card and citizenship. Thus, illegal immigrants will suddenly be able to become voting citizens. Shaazzzam!
