U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy trounces incumbent U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu
The Louisiana Secretary of State has the Dec. 6 runoff election vote tally HERE.
Mary Landrieu, seeking a fourth term, was trailing by double digits going into the Saturday election.
A medical doctor, Cassidy used Landrieu’s vote for Obamacare against her to motive voters who didn’t need much of a shove. His ads hammered home the message. “She represents Barack Obama. I represent you.” “A vote for her is a vote for him.” “Remember: Mary Landrieu… Barack Obama… 97 percent.”
