If you’re ever tempted to think your vote doesn’t count, remember this razor thin Congressional District 2 race decided today after a recount and court battles. Retired Air Force Colonel Martha McSally, the first female pilot to fly combat missions, emerged victorious from battle again, taking out Democrat U. S. Rep. Ron Barber by 167 votes in the nation’s final 2014 recount.
