Spain’s princess to pay €600k fine to clear her name

Spain’s Princess Cristina is to pay almost 600,000 euros (737,000 dollars) to have her name cleared in relation to a corruption case involving her spouse.
The princess’s attorney, Miguel Roca, made the remark during a press conference on Tuesday, adding that that amount would offset the prosecutor’s estimation of how much she could have profited from her husband’s alleged embezzlement, DPA reported.
Roca went on to say that Cristina would immediately transfer the amount, which would “extinguish her civil and criminal responsibility.” …. http://www.presstv.ir
