UFO Abducts PILOT in PLANE!

In 1978, aspiring pilot Frederick Valentich was doing a night training run out to King Island in Australia. Just as his plane started going over open ocean, something strange happening. He radioed in and reported what was happening to him: a strange object was hovering in circles around him, apparently toying with him. He communicated all of this to radio control, and then all of the sudden the communications stopped….what followed was 17 seconds of scratching noises. Frederick Valentich had disappeared without even a trace…and the wreckage from his plane was never found.

I was there at the time. Was camped in a kombi near the lighthouse at Cape Otway with a friend. She had been looking out to sea at dusk and saw flashing lights, I was making coffee at the time so didn’t see them.If you know the area it is or was then very remote, lights flashing in that area would get your attention. On arriving in Lorne the next day we were more than surprised to read about the disappearing plane.
