A homeowner and intruder exchanged gun shots Wednesday at a rural residence just south of Amboy.
The homeowner came home and noticed things were strewn about, said Clark County sheriff's Sgt. Tony Barnes. The homeowner and burglar confronted each other and fired shots at each other. Nobody was hit, Barnes said.
