Dave Workman: Editorial Board Shows Bias

(Before It's News)

Another well done article by Dave Workman.

The Seattle Times editorial board seems intent on reinforcing its image as solidly anti-gun with its New Year’s Eve editorial in which it revealed that one of the headlines it would like to see this year would be “Gun control, reloaded: Lawmakers pass ammunition limits, safe storage laws.”

In reaction, one reader suggested the following headline: “Washington State Supreme Court rescinds I-594, calling it unconstitutional.” This one may have some promise, considering the Second Amendment Foundation’s federal lawsuit filed earlier this week against the onerous 18-page gun control measure that is now law, with state agencies unable to determine clearly what is legal or illegal. But it would be a federal court, not the state high court, making the call.

The editorial board members may need a reality check, and it comes from neighboring Canada, where a man identified by the Edmonton Journal as Phu Lam murdered eight people earlier this week before taking his own life. The newspaper has carefully detailed the mass shooting, noting that the 9mm handgun used in the slayings was “legally registered in British Columbia in 1997. Nine years later, in 2006, the gun was stolen in Surrey, B.C. It is not known if the gun changed hands since 2006.” It certainly changed locations.
