> It’s time to make Minnesota the first heartland state to label GMOs! Two GMO labeling bills from last year’s legislative session, SB 2865 and HB 3145, are in the process of being revised and introduced for the 2015 session.

> Join Right to Know MN for GMO Label Day at the Capitol next Tuesday! Meet with your legislators in person and tell them why passing a mandatory GMO labeling bill in Minnesota is important to you and your family.

> GMO Label Day is also a great opportunity to meet with GMO labeling bill sponsors, Rep. Karen Clarke and Sen. John Marty, and other GMO labeling advocates.
>
> We will meet at Christ Lutheran Church, across from the State Capitol, at 1 p.m. to learn how to effectively converse with your legislators on this issue. Then we’ll walk to the Capitol to meet with our legislators from both the House and Senate.

> This is a very family-friendly event. To help cover venue costs, food and printed materials, we’re asking each family or individual to make a $10 contribution. After signing up, you’ll be taken to a page where you can make your donation. Please note, no one will be turned away for not being able to contribute!
