As people all over the world were celebrating the arrival of the new year on December 31st, a mystery was unfolding on Asbury Park’s First Avenue Beach as a mysterious boat void of any passengers was found washed ashore.
The mystery derelict had been at sea for some time, according to officials, and in addition to having no passengers, the ship’s engine was also missing. Strangest of all, 6abc.com reports that the vessel was found with the words “I will miss you” inscribed on its hull.
According to statements by deputy chief of police Anthony Salerno, the boat is named ‘Braveheart’, and is considered abandoned property.
Mystery ships like these are the stuff of legend. The Mary Celeste ring a bell?
Indeed, you are missed……..
