WI: No Charges in Centuria Shooting

A western Wisconsin man was rousted from bed by a banging at the door just hours into the new year, prompting him to grab his handgun and shoot the violent intruder, authorities said

 Public records show that both men live in the same block of 4th Street, but authorities have not said whether they knew each other before Thursday’s predawn incident.
