A new “Aquaman Crystal” that absorbs oxygen may soon make it possible for people to breathe underwater. The technology has been developed by scientists in Denmark who are using a crystalline substance to store oxygen and then release it with applied heat. The discovery could potentially be used in many ways such as medically for patients who need oxygen tanks and for recreational purposes such as scuba diving.
