Palestinian teen, Lina Khattab, sentenced to six months in Israeli prison for protesting: Lina Khattab, 18 year old Palestinian student at Bir Zeit University and folkloric dancer with El Funoun, was sentenced by an Israeli military court to six months imprisonment on Monday, 16 February after it convicted her on charges of “throwing stones” and “participating in an unlawful demonstration.” She was also sentenced to a 6000 NIS ($1500 USD) fine and three years probation….
