(INTELLIHUB) — If you didn’t already know, eating food out of a can or box is almost scary as you never know what you might get. It’s kinda like a grab bag.
In fact a certain amount of defects are perfectly acceptable by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), even rodents or natural chemicals secreted out of the anus of animals, such as beavers, are fine.
Sawdust is even an approved filler. A bit chewy but approved.
A coloring that is made by crushing insects up, gathering their blood to make red #5 has also been approved.
