Eastside traffic stop and the thin blue lie
Mike Burns came to visit from Florida! (Thanks for comin Mike!) and we captured a traffic stop where two people were taken into custody. Despite seeing us walk up, and letting us stand there filming for a good 10 minutes before claiming they didn’t know what we were holding. “Um… it’s a camera!”
“We have to check. We don’t know if your pointing bad things at us!”
After you seen us there for ten minutes prior? Your partner asked what was on my shirt. When I said “copblock.org” He KNEW what we were doing there. The officer who shines the light on me for the other one to take the picture was having a conversation with us when we first walked up! He then doesn’t tell his buddy who thinks I’m pointing a gun at him?
The officer with the Black hair wants to know what the commentary for this video is gonna be? Well here it is officer! Stop lying like we don’t both know your full of shit! Quit with attitude with people you meet on the street! How can you expect to gain the trust of the community back if this is how you treat them! The onus is on YOU Cleveland police! YOU are the ones who have to prove to us that your intentions are noble!
Th trust you may have had with the community has been shattered! It’s up to YOU officer to fix that!! FYI? Officer? You did a piss poor job of that, by accusing us of sneaking up on you, when we clearly didn’t sneak up on anyone! Then you made statements about the other cop that was lying to us about not knowing what we were holding cameras. You said he was the finest Cleveland officer on the force? If hes lying about not knowing the difference between a gun and a camera, then he can’t be too good, can he?
O and did I mention how this fine upstanding officer agreed that I have the right to hold a sign that says “Turn Now”? According to super cop, “The Supreme Court already ruled on that!” I know officer, and yet I still have to have a trial in June to determine the legality of that in Parma! He says, “The officer who gave you the citation is wrong!” Well, would you like to come to my court date and tell officer Manzo and the Parma police that I am well within my rights to have my sign!? Its June 2nd in Parma court! Ill look forward to seeing you there so you can tell the judge how this trial Im goin through has already been decided by the supreme court! Hell! If I had known all I needed was you to straighten this whole Mishegas out, I would have not had to hire my attorney!
We can play these bullshit games all you want CPD! Im not the one who had the department of Justice sayin I should be a cop, am I? I am up for conversation with any of you that wanna shoot straight with me! Judge for yourselves. Is this the type of behavior you want from your officers Cleveland? Funny how when they thought the camera was off, they wanted to talk huh?
