General Strike Could Be Wedge Issue for RTW Protesters

[Madison, Wisc...] A general strike in Wisconsin was unanimously agreed to at a protest rally in the Wisconsin Capitol on Wednesday morning by voice vote.
This was in response to a right to work bill currently working its way through the State Senate. After the event, MacIver News had a difficult time identifying any union members who actually supported a general strike. Most actually voiced their strong opposition to the idea, even though they refrained from casting votes against it. |
