Homeland Security (DHS) has just failed getting it’s funding. The US government is heading into shutdown now because Obama no longer rules. Obama’s the Antichrist.
DHS hurtles toward shutdown as funding bill stalls
The Department of Homeland Security continues to hurtle toward a partial shutdown as funding legislation stalls in Congress and lawmakers continue to be at odds over a new bill.
DHS would have to furlough 30,000 employees if Congress does not pass a funding bill by the end of Feb. 27 – while the remaining 85 percent of employees would have to work without pay, according to the agency.
Congress has already funded the rest of the government in December, but the DHS funding was cut short to provide an opportunity for further debate on President Obama’s executive actions, including a program that defers deportation for immigrant children and others.

DHS is considered by the government as being “essential” so it will not shut down. They may or may not furlough 30,000 but there are 240,000 people working for the DHS. In the past due to govt. shutdowns workers were paid retroactively, so this will probably be the case this time. Give it a maximum of to weeks to be sorted out. I haven’t been to the airport for a while, but if I were to book a ticket for a month from today I would be very surprised not to have to go through the line with my shoes off.
