Ministers and officials were “too dazzled or too intimidated” by Jimmy Savile to ask “hard questions” which could have unmasked the “evil predator we now know he was”, Jeremy Hunt admitted on Thursday.
The Health Secretary apologised again to the paedophile’s victims on behalf of the Government.
