The “bici col nodo” or “bike with the knot” is an imaginative Italian design with a knotted metal frame. Created by Piero Cappelli and Elena Franzantia of Ottomilano, the bicycle is made in Italy in three models, numbered 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. The 8.1 Absolute Fixie of course is a fixed gear, the 8.2 Smart City is a commuter, and the 8.3 Grand Touring is a professional road bike. Each ride features the signature knotted tubing and is stylized in two of Italy’s national colors: white and green.
