Last Week Tonight with John Oliver 2-8-15… “Marketing to Doctors”
Most who read this blog are likely aware of this. This is quite the hilarious and informative piece by John Oliver and staff. But it makes many valid points.
I learned about this when a few years ago a Kaiser Permanente doctor I went to prescribed “statins“… to “prevent heart disease” and “keep me healthy”. I later learned of the negative side effects of statins, which that doctor never told me about… I never went back to that doctor.
Typical “head up okole” Western medicine… when something’s wrong, hit it with a few pills. And make the doctor and Big pharma lots of money.
Remember, it’s the “Military industrial pharmaceutical educational historical governmentical controlled mass media” complex.

We have a few issues with that.
