VAL VERDE COUNTY, Tex. (INTELLIHUB) — At around 1:30 p.m. local police were dispatched to a local convenience store after receiving reports that an angry man was wielding a machete, threatening customers.
When police arrived the man, a trucker, was already inside his big rig.
When the man attempted to run down police on the scene an unknown number of officers open fired on the man through the glass and side of the 18-wheeler.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after.
According to reports police suffered no injuries.
