DMT, also known as the Spirit Molecule, can be found inside almost every plant and animal species in the world, including human beings. We produce DMT in our pineal glands, a part of the brain which has been connected to spirituality and the ‘third eye’ for thousands of years by various ancient cultures.
DMT has a chemical compound very similar to serotonin, but despite the fact that it occurs naturally, it is highly illegal in most parts of the world. This educational short film does a great job of summarizing DMT, and is also a great introduction to anyone who is curious about Ayahuasca (a brew traditionally taken by people of the Amazon to explore other dimensions).
