Google acquired information from the documents leaked by Sony hackers and shifted the entire blame on Hollywood and a state attorney general. The company believes that they have finally become successful in achieving their long lost agenda of paralyzing freedom of speech.

Google alleged Motion Picture Association of America and the attorney general of Mississippi that they were involved in manipulating the trade information available on the internet without coining new laws. It is now believed, that Motion Picture Association of America seeks to avenge Google and therefore they have locked their target. The main aim of the MPPA is to block such websites that are involved in publishing copyright material. Hence, Google is their first potential target since they believe that the company has been involved in various misleading activities.

The accused attorney general stated that he had previously worked with various companies on highly controversial topics such child pornography, trafficking of drugs etc. but this accusation is potentially vague. He explained his stance on the matter by stating, “We’re just saying that if a website has 90 percent illegal material, they shouldn’t put them in search results,” Furthermore, “We’ve been working on these issues for years, and Google full well knows that.”

A spokesperson for Motion Picture Association of America stated that Google actually aims to sway attention from itself. The blog is coined in a way that it helps them get a clean slate but MPPA will not let go for the fraudulent acts the company has been involved in.

Sony Pictures planned on launching their controversial comedy movie ‘The Interview’. The plot of the movie narrated the murder of a North Korean revolutionist Kim Jong Un. This led to some hackers making their way to the servers of Sony Pictures and thus became an imminent threat to movie cinemas. McCain also encouraged Sony to exhibit the movie free of cost on the online medium.

The entire United States government condemns cyber breaches and will not take cyber warfare lightly. McCain adds that the problem with an American economy is that they do not understand the sensitivity of cyber attacks.

Senator John McCain who is the chairperson of Senate Armed Services Committee will conduct trials in the upcoming two weeks of the Congress meeting. The hearing will particularly focus on the cyber breach associated with Sony Pictures.

Sony Corporation took a fairly bold move to come up with a bizarre plot for ‘The Interview’. This does not involve the hacking but, in general, the entire movie is a bit hard to digest
