(INTELLIHUB) — After a video surfaced showing the House Mother of fraternity Signa Alpha Epsilon, University of Oklahoma, singing “nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga, niga, nigga” to song lyrics, not only did CNN host Don Lemon say “nigger” on air, but one of his commentators, Ben Ferguson, CNN, actually thinks that descriptive words should be banned and removed from the American vocabulary and music altogether.
“The word should be dead, we should kill it, it shouldn’t be in a song, it shouldn’t be said. I also think that the word should not be acceptable in music that people are going to sing along to. It’s not an excuse to have it in a song. It’s not an excuse for Mrs. B to use it, no one should be using it. And if we want to get rid of the word we should stop it in rap music as well.”
