High School Data Sought For UW Students Needing Remedial Education

[Madison, Wisc...] The UW-System reports that twenty percent of freshmen are referred to remedial classes, but the data does not go much further. Rep. John Jagler is behind a bill that would require the system to also report what high school those students came from. He says that is the first step in ending that trend. MNS's Bill Osmulski has more.
