(Before It's News)

Earlier today, citizen journalists mistakenly reported there was a fire at the Kremlin, based on images from the same webcam referenced in the TND story, “Putin Dead? Coup? Probably Just B.S. – Moscow Webcam Shows Quiet Activity Around Kremlin.”  Having studied the photos and perspective from that cam for our previous story, we can say the confusion is understandable.

The distance between the fire at Moscow’s landmark 16th century Novodevichy Convent and the Kremlin is over 5 kilometers.  Click here to see a Google map for perspective.
