Well looks like the guys are at it again doing big things but in this case one’s spending millions to make more millions and one is setting up to make multi millions then to billions with one plan.
Well lets start off with Jay Z the one who helped CitySide Records CEO get off of a Child Support case 5 months ago with a single featured mixtape song “Open Letter’ Jay has been approved by the investor’s of Tidal/Aspiro to purchase both companies for $56 Million even after knowing that the company is on it’s last leg with finances but of course Jay’s business saavy can save the company especially if him and wifey Beyonce endorses it. The company says he has less than a couple of days to make the announcement that he has made the purchase or it’s curtains for Jay like the end of a Madea play….lol. Well this is part of buying a major public company and speaking of public companies let’s scroll right into CitySide Records……..
May be this is a move Jay Z is doing to take his Roc Nation public by buying into another which is struggling then he merges it with his company then he’s on the New York Stock Exchange…hmmmmmm. HAS ANYONE FIGURED THIS MOVE OUT YET? Well record label and music ministry CitySide Record/CitySide Music Ministries has been quietly speaking to do just the same but there’s no word on what company CitySide will buy. I didn’t think they even had enuff money to buy a company with the little indie records they have released. Not to mention they just reached 1 million copies sold after inception (1999/2007) , well you’re wondering the label started in 99 and the music label division started in 2007.
But anyways the CEO/Founder Minister Stevie Tee newly known as king Stevian has been hinting at going public for a couple of weeks now while cleaning up all the ministry’s departments (which there are 14). It is said he’s prepping something so big the majors better prepare to run because there will be numbers ran all over them in a 4 month period span that will make CitySide Records/CitySide Music Ministries worth close to 1 Billion Dollars, that’s right 1,000,000,000.
Now for those that are looking at the title of this article and wondering whaaaaaatttt? Well here it is, many artist and labels get excited over 70,000 records being sold within a 7 day period but what if a indie label did that in 3 days with no type of major backing? Wellllll they would be angry and scratch their dandruff till it fell like frosted flakes…lol Well CitySide is going to do just that, ASK YOURSELF THIS…….
WHY DO MAJOR LABELS SIGN MANY HOT STREET ARTIST? WELLLLL it’s not because they are hot, but because the majors fear that artist will be a star without them so they come in take their indie shine and get credit for it as well as to tap into the indie artist fan base. Many indie artist fall for this but if they had stayed where they were they could’ve been a major like CitySide Records is preparing to do. We will keep you updated on this as we get the 411 1st about their upcoming IPO (Initial Public Offering)
