LOS ANGELES (INTELLIHUB) — Former Death Row Records C.E.O. Suge Knight, 49, collapsed in a courtroom Friday after a judge set his bail at $25 million for murder charges pertaining to a double hit and run in which Knight pleaded not guilty.
Eyewitnesses said Knight passed out after hitting his head on a nearby chair during the collapse.
Shortly after the incident Knight was later taken to a local area hospital for a medical evaluation.
Knights attorney did indicate that the excessive bail would likely not be made.
A preliminary hearing will be scheduled for April 13.
