Aero Precision has just announced a second run of the limited-edition Ghost Gun AR-15 lower receivers. These tongue-in-cheek lowers moved fast last time so if you’re at all interested you’d better hurry.
These lowers proudly mock anti-gun California-state Sen. Kevin de Leon who coined the original term “Ghost Gun.”
The lower’s selector reads [D], .30 Caliber Clip and /Half Sec and is marked on both sides for use with ambidextrous selectors.
It is in most respects a standard AR-15 lower machined from forged 7075-T6 alloy aluminum and uses a set screw to hold in the rear takedown detent pin in place.
It’s designed for semi-automatic fire, has a matte black hard-coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2, marked “cal multi,” and designed with a rear takedown pin detent hole is threaded for a 4-40 set screw
They’re available directly from Aero Precision for the one-time price of $105. Like all AR lowers they’re legally firearms and must be shipped to your local FFL.
“Our stripped lower receiver allows you to build a custom AR15 from the ground up. Mil-spec dimensions and coating ensure the highest quality and correct component interface,” the company said.
