Here is a list of ten habits that we all need to break. These habits may not apply to everyone, but they do affect at least a third of our population.
Start prioritizing and focusing on quality rather than quantity. It’s also time to start to work smart and not hard. Or the very least you can do is spare others from always hearing your complaints about how busy you are. It gets very annoying after awhile. Our recommendation to stop multi-tasking is to cut the unnecessary things out. Cutting somethings out of your life entirely can be difficult, inconvenient and even plain depressing, but well worth the long term benefits.
Use the extra time you have to make away from your desk more often and start sweating it out. You’re not required to do any intense exercises. Just move more often and get your heart rates rising. If you have a hard time finding what to do, try out a chair workout by Donovan Green or the Scientific 7 minuteworkout. You can do it, we have faith in you.
Embrace the fact that you make flaws like every other human being on this earth. You can also turn your mistakes into something positive and beneficial for you and your goals.
Too much confidence in yourself can make you aggressive looking or too arrogant in the eyes of friends and family. Likewise, too much optimism can make you look complacent. Simply look at ways you can develop your weaknesses to complement your current strengths.
Start recognizing that a show of confidence can just be to compensate for a lack of characteristic or skill. Likewise, start to recognize how that subdued, shy co-worker can be more knowledgeable in some many ways than your self-assured friend. Create an environment that allows you to share a virtual high five within your team mate.

Humans like to think that they are clever. Yet those magnificent, mighty brains that allow us to split the atom and touch the moon are the same stupid brains that can’t start an assignment until the day before it’s due. Give yourself that needed boost to start and finish things immediately by looking for some simple resources of inspiration to get you started. Download the Procrastination app if you need some tips.
