SOUTHWEST HOUSTON – In broad daylight Saturday, three suspects attempted to break into a man's home.
But they were quickly chased off as the homeowner grabbed a gun and opened fire, hitting two of the suspects.

A window in Carter's house was struck by a stray bullet during the shooting. But Carter says he holds no ill will.
