Talk about waste–and you, the taxpayer paid it. When American are having trouble buying groceries, making house/car/rent payments, this joker gets on the gravy train and we pay the bill! muckracker
So… we have millions of homeless veterans living on the streets and committing suicide in record numbers due to inadequate treatment and outrageously long waiting lists, but they can pay an executive $288,000 to move 3 hours away… on top of her already super-sized bonuses? Why don’t they put that money toward hiring more administrative assistance to process the backlog?!
Only the government could get away with this. Stop the corruption and give war vets the respect and assistance they deserve—double time!
And review the salaries of VA execs and get them down where they belong. They can EARN their bonuses—if those are even ethical. This one obviously didn’t deserve any based on her performance in the field. I don’t believe taxpayers would approve of this blatant misappropriation of funds. ~ BP
