What Could Possibly Go Wrong Dept.: Now you can upload your house key scan to the cloud and get a copy at a kiosk – with your fingerprint

(Before It's News)

You take a photo of your key with your phone, upload to the https://key.me/ server, then go to a kiosk at a hardware store (soon to be found in Lowes, as well as elsewhere), then I think you enter a code(?) sent to your email address, and ALLOW YOUR FINGERPRINT TO BE SCANNED (also uploaded to their server!), And you can get your key copy. Or they can even be mailed to you. Or to anyone who can break into your email account. Plus I think you can later get another key copy at a kiosk with just your fingerprint. And you can send someone else an email that will allow them to make a copy. I’m not sure I’ve got all the details correct, due to vagueness in this article and the company website, But I’m sure it involves email accounts and fingerprints.
