Fifteen-year-old Jaylen Fryberg used a Beretta PX4 Storm, which he took from his father, when he opened fire at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Oct. 24, 2014, killing four and injuring another, before turning the gun on himself. Court documents now reveal that the teen’s father, Raymond Lee Fryberg, was the subject of an active order of protection and should have never been in possession of the gun in the first place. Despite that, Fryberg had somehow slipped through the system and passed a federal background check when he purchased not one, but five firearms.
