Custodial gold claimed by NY Fed falls below 6,000 tonnes

Zero Hedge reports tonight that custodial gold said to be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has fallen below 6,000 tonnes for the first time this century as the slow but steady withdrawal of metal, apparently central bank repatriation, continues for the 10th straight month:
